Senior Tax Manager

Baker Tilly Canada is a leading accounting firm with a strong presence in Northern Ontario. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Sudbury, Timmins, or North Bay.
As a Senior Tax Manager, you will work closely with partners, managers, and other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality tax planning, services, and advice to our clients.
- Leading special tax engagements and providing support, coaching, and professional development to firm staff.
- Preparing and presenting technical sessions to firm staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty.
- A Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
- Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax Program.
- Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software.
- Proven project management and time management skills to organize, implement, and execute projects.
- Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
