Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and operation of Pharmacy Services within Prairie Mountain Health. This role will oversee the safe administration and operation of Pharmacy Services, monitor financial, human resources, equipment, and environmental issues, and develop policies and procedures related to Pharmacy Services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the safe administration and operation of Pharmacy Services throughout Prairie Mountain Health.
- Monitor and address financial, human resources, equipment, and environmental issues related to Pharmacy Services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to Pharmacy Services.
- Participate in portfolio/facility/regional team structure and contribute to the planning and development of a sustainable program.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health, Infection Prevention and Control, Hand Hygiene, Regional Policies, and other educational requirements for all staff under their supervision.
- Develop and maintain functional relationships with other departments/programs.
- Plan for continued professional development of staff and self.

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent undergraduate pharmacy degree.
- Eligible for and maintains licensure to practice as a pharmacist in the province of Manitoba.
- Province of Manitoba Class 5 Drivers Licence, or equivalent from province of residence, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within Prairie Mountain Health.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information Technology.
