**Job Summary**

Island Health is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the University of Victoria Student Wellness Centre. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide high-quality patient care to post-secondary students, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to students, including routine check-ups, health assessments, and management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including clinical counselors, psychologists, and registered nurses, to provide holistic care to students
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students and residents
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently

**Requirements**

  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Experience in family medicine or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
