Long Haul Truck Driver

At INTERMOUNTAIN TRUCKING LTD, we are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a two-person team or convoy, operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. You will also be responsible for overseeing the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. Additionally, you will perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle. You will also be responsible for receiving and relaying information to central dispatch, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption. You will also be responsible for tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and to develop your skills as a Long Haul Truck Driver.
The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license (Class 1 or A), Air Brakes Endorsement, and experience with GPS and other navigation equipment. You will also have a strong attention to detail, be able to work overtime, and be a team player.
