We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team at Ten48 Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, working as part of a two-person team or convoy. Your duties will include loading and unloading goods, obtaining necessary permits, and operating and maintaining our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver - Long Haul, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You must be physically fit and able to work long hours, often away from home.
