Quality Control Inspector Role at Topline Farms

At Topline Farms, we are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and materials by examining and inspecting containers, materials, and products to meet specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of containers, materials, and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Weigh, measure, and count products and materials to verify accuracy.
  • Document inspection results and product information on detailed forms.
  • Compare inspection data with receiving information to identify discrepancies and report any issues.
  • Communicate with the Quality Coordinator or Supervisor to prioritize inspection tasks and address any concerns.
  • Report damages, shortages, and non-conformities to the Quality Control Coordinator, Supervisor, or Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English.
  • Ability to communicate issues or concerns to the appropriate parties.
  • Basic math calculation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Famous is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment (Approx. 45-55 degrees F).
