Extraction Specialist

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, filtering and diluting oil extraction, weighing and labeling cannabis oil. They will also ensure the safety and productivity of all employees within the department, maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with all production and quality SOPs, and enforce all safety and processing procedures.

Requirements
We are looking for someone with a minimum two years of production experience in a food or health product related industry. They should have demonstrated experience in a production-oriented position, completion of High School mandatory and preferably post-secondary program. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to motivate others and operate knowledge of all available processing equipment and processes.

Working Conditions
The job requires standing for extended periods of time, safely lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly, and working in an enclosed and secure work area. The successful candidate will be required to wear/use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.
