C.F.R Dorchester inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machine tools and equipment to produce high-quality parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand production requirements.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to fabricate parts and products.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Maintain and repair precision measuring instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances to ensure quality control.
  • Verify dimensions of parts and products using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work accurately and efficiently, and strong interpersonal skills.
