The Business Development Specialist at Fortinet plays a pivotal role in supporting the North American Sales Team by identifying and qualifying leads. This specialist leverages strategic accounts, target campaigns, marketing events, and 3rd party services to drive lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with strategic accounts through out-bound phone calls and emails to identify and qualify leads generated from various marketing events.
  • Schedule website and in-person demonstrations, as well as sales appointments for assigned regional account teams.
  • Track lead generation, engagement, and performance through Salesforce.com.
  • Update and monitor all qualified leads converted to opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Well-organized with effective time and activity-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Goal-oriented, able to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly goals.
  • Confident with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Ideal candidate has interest or experience with technology sales.
  • Bilingual French an asset but not required.

Education:

  • BS in Business Administration or related fields.

On-target earnings (OTE) for this full-time position are expected to be between $50,000 - $90,000 annually. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience. All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company's discretion.
