Job Title: Development Clerk

Reporting to the Manager, Right of Way, this position will provide administrative support to the Development, Projects and Right-of-Way Division. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing reception and telephone support to all staff within the division
  • Typing various reports and correspondence, including meeting minutes and updates to spreadsheets
  • Updating computerized systems, including Amanda and LiveLink
  • Coordinating meetings and maintaining office equipment
  • Redirecting and maintaining all incoming and outgoing mail/courier correspondence
  • Delivering and picking up corporate documents/files at other City sites
  • Maintaining office supplies and performing Occupational Health & Safety duties
Qualifications:
  • Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations as required
  • Minimum 50 wpm typing
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative and ability to work with minimal direction
