About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at All Indian Grocery Store/Takeout Limited. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare special orders and provide excellent customer service.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
