About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at All Indian Grocery Store/Takeout Limited. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Customer Service: Prepare special orders and provide excellent customer service.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, and schedule staff as needed.
  • Food Safety: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Inventory Organization: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
  • Special Requests: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
