Job Summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a skilled Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow sales revenue through daily territory management and visits to customer job sites and offices
  • Develop a network of potential clients and maintain regular contact through phone and internet
  • Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve desired results
  • Maintain and exceed sales quotas by renting and selling equipment
  • Understand customer needs and market conditions to identify opportunities
  • Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify the customer base
  • Support all team members
Requirements
  • Previous outside sales experience in the construction industry
  • Proficient with computers
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
Compensation
  • Base salary plus uncapped commissions
  • Company vehicle, gas card, expense card, laptop, and cellphone provided
