Job Title: Director, Planning

The Finance and Corporate Services Division is responsible for providing a sound financial, project management, and information technology platform to support the organization's mandate and budget.

The team works closely with all divisions to manage financial and project aspects of programs and initiatives that aim to deliver on the priorities of the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive technological innovation and balance cutting-edge and established technologies and service delivery models.
  • Maintain a stable, robust, and secure Information Technology (IT) environment.
  • Shape and implement the organization's future state digital vision.
  • Coordinate and provide support to deliver on program/project objectives.
  • Lead IT strategy, projects, and operations, including client experience and digital transformation.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience.
  • Experience in leading complex, transformational IT system projects.
  • Confidence in making strategic recommendations.
  • Broad understanding of technology, systems, and information management programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft's software and cloud ecosystem.
