Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to join our senior management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing accurate reporting and meaningful analysis to support our ongoing financial success and growth. You will work closely with our Operations team to optimize plant performance and efficiency, and be involved in all financial aspects of the organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with at least 7-10 years of experience in a Controller, Finance Director, or VP Finance role. You will have demonstrated skill in numerical proficiency, organization, and strong logical disposition. You will also have robust leadership skills and the ability to communicate clearly and informally.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the annual budget and reforecast processes, supporting the operations team in the development of project pricing and performance management, and leading GRT's monthly internal and external financial reporting. You will also be responsible for implementing process improvements to optimize business operations and financial recordkeeping, managing the insurance and risk management program, and providing accurate information and reporting to support cash flow management and strategic business decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation
- At least 7-10 years of progressive experience in a Controller, Finance Director, or VP Finance role
- Demonstrated skill in numerical proficiency, organization, and strong logical disposition
- Robust leadership skills and the ability to communicate clearly and informally
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work overtime as needed along with a big-picture method to approaching tasks
- Knowledge and proficiency with Excel
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Benefits
This is a full-time executive position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The role will be based in Vancouver Island or Metro Vancouver, with some days working on site at our Nanaimo or Vancouver facilities.
