We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Base Maintenance Manager to join our team at Airside. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical competence of our maintenance workforce and implementing maintenance procedures and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a training and development program for maintenance personnel
  • Manage records of training and experience for maintenance personnel
  • Implement and maintain maintenance procedures and standards
  • Analyze faults and trends in aircraft maintenance to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure calibration of tools and measuring equipment
  • Maintenance planning, taking into account human factors
  • Correction of quality defects and promotion of the Safety Management System
  • Responding to and coordination of AOG's
  • Monitoring faults and identifying trends, generating reports for feedback

Requirements:

  • Technical studies, ideally in Aviation
  • Substantial line and base maintenance experience
  • EASA Part-66 Licence Cat. B1.3 and Cat. C
  • Previous experience in a supervisory position in an aviation maintenance environment
  • Good English and ideally also good German language skills
  • Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and MRO software
  • Natural leadership skills and good planning skills
