Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a training and development program to enhance the technical competence of the maintenance workforce.
- Manage records of training and experience of maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain effective maintenance procedures and practices to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
- Ensure that maintenance procedures and standards are observed and adhered to.
- Analyze faults in the maintenance of aircraft to identify trends and implement counter-measures.
- Ensure the calibration of tools and measuring equipment to maintain accuracy and precision.
- Develop and implement maintenance planning strategies that take into account human factors aspects.
- Correct quality defects in the maintenance area of responsibility.
- Ensure the observance and promotion of the Safety Management System.
- Respond to and coordinate AOGs (Aircraft on Ground) to minimize downtime and ensure efficient maintenance operations.
- Monitor faults and identify trends, generating reports of incidents to the CAMO Manager and Quality Manager for feedback to the relevant OEMs.
- Technical studies in Aviation or a related field.
- Substantial line and base maintenance experience.
- EASA Part-66 Licence Cat. B1.3 and Cat. C.
- Previous experience in a supervisory position in an aviation maintenance environment.
- Good English and ideally good German language skills.
- Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and MRO software.
- Natural leadership skills.
- Good planning skills and the ability to manage several topics at the same time.
