About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Freshii.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of food service staff, ensuring that meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Coordination: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on inventory, sales, and other relevant metrics.
  • Hiring and Supervision: Hire food service staff, supervise and check assembly of trays, and establish work schedules.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service setting.
