Payroll Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at CB Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the processing of payroll changes, resolving issues, and creating systems to process payroll account transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the processing of payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and raises
- Resolve payroll-related issues and answer questions from employees and management
- Develop and implement systems to process payroll account transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments
- Supervise and coach payroll coordinators to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
- Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Human Resources and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
- Create reports and ensure accuracy of payroll records
- PC or CPM certification is an asset
- Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes in Canada and the USA
- 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar role is an asset
- Able to work with a variety of payroll applications
- 4+ years of total payroll experience
