Veterinary Care Specialist

K-VET PETCARE CANADA INC is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to animals undergoing treatment and surgery. Your responsibilities will include assisting veterinarians before, during, and after surgery, preparing and administering medications and vaccines, and providing nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as directed by veterinarians
- Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals, including wound and bandage care
- Conduct and assist in laboratory research and testing
- Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist veterinarians with animal dentistry
In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients, counseling them on animal health care and answering their questions and concerns.
