Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Sleep Country Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct customer product order picks and load delivery trucks with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to complete inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
  • Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document any issues as required.
  • Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) Scanners to scan products and items into our WMS system with accuracy and speed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by completing customer pick-up orders and addressing any customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and regulations, and maintain a clean and organized working environment.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg) with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift, including evenings and weekends, with a focus on meeting business needs.
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle challenges and issues as they arise.
  • Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Scanners and material handling equipment is an asset.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment and knowledge of warehouse management systems is considered an asset.
