Job Title: E-mail Marketing Manager – Customer Communications

Export Development Canada (EDC) is a financial Crown corporation dedicated to helping Canadian businesses succeed in the global market. We are seeking an experienced E-mail Marketing Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Job Summary:

The E-mail Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing email nurturing workflows to promote our products and services, driving engagement and retention of existing customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, email automation, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute email nurturing workflows to promote our products and services
  • Apply the EDC brand to all digital initiatives and represent the voice of the customer throughout the exporter journey
  • Accelerate digital marketing expertise through sharing results, digital best practices, processes, and internal digital capabilities
  • Analyze program effectiveness and continuously iterate to drive results
  • Incorporate Generative AI in the writing and nurturing strategies
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in digital marketing, marketing automation, or related digital CX field
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Experience executing a targeted digital marketing program based on customer insights
  • Experience with marketing measurement frameworks
Assets:
  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
  • Experience with AGILE Scrum framework
  • B2B/Financial services marketing experience
  • Email automation experience using Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce, or other email automation and CRM platforms
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms, variable testing, tracking codes, parameters, and their relationship to databases
Salary Range:

Marketing Generalist 17: Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $81,012 to $108,017 plus a performance-based incentive.

Location:

Export Development Canada is a hybrid work environment. This role may be performed from EDC's headquarters in Ottawa, or from the Community Hub in Toronto or Montreal. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
