Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Health Director to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our global cloud services team and Enterprise Architecture team, you will be responsible for overseeing and governing the technical design and implementation of global and regional deployment of computing, storage, backup and cloud solutions that are aligned with global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and propose specific IT standards, design strategies and initiatives to align solutions with client and corporate objectives, as well as with the industry's best practices.
  • Translate business issues/opportunities into technical solution requirements.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers to coordinate and oversee deliverables and ensure compliance with global standards, architecture, processes and procedures.
  • Participate in the technical governance and strategic planning of global infrastructure and operations in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture.
  • Develop technical design documentation for new initiatives to support transition to operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
  • Experience in managing multiple suppliers.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Experience in private or public cloud computing (Azure), infrastructure, IT infrastructure automation, advanced services and service delivery, including extensive experience in several technology areas (storage/infrastructure/computing/virtualization/security/applications).
  • Organizational skills (prioritizing, meeting deadlines, managing multiple simultaneous projects) and excellent documentation skills.
  • Experience in applying best safety practices in the design and implementation of initiatives.
