About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team at Canamex Siding Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing exterior prefabricated products, reading blueprints and specifications, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install exterior prefabricated products, including siding and trim, to ensure a watertight seal and a smooth finish.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Repair and service exterior prefabricated products, including siding and trim, to maintain their integrity and appearance.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including hand tools and power tools, to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, such as construction or renovation.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
