About the Role

Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Administrator to join our team in Montreal. As an Event Administrator, you will play a vital support role in the daily success of our Events Department, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our event specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to incoming inquiries in a timely manner, providing accurate and helpful information to clients.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with accounting procedures, including deposit requests and invoicing, and maintain accurate records in our database.
  • Event Support: Assist event specialists with preparing event proposals and contracts, submitting menu requests, and with other tasks as required.
  • General Administration: Perform general administrative duties, including printing, sending reports, maintaining emails and voicemails, filing, and upkeep of client database.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Advanced written and spoken French and English.
  • Education: Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business or Hospitality.
  • Experience: Previous administrative experience, restaurant experience, or sales and marketing experience is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to engage clients, IT/Computer savvy, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), fanatical attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and sales ability.
