Pharmacy Technician Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Carlton Heights Compounding Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prescription Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of prescription information, including medication names, dosages, and instructions.
  • Client Information: Enter client information into our database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Medication Preparation: Prepare medications for clients, following strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Scheduling and Workflow: Assist with scheduling and workflow management, ensuring a smooth and efficient pharmacy operation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, and organized.
