Pharmacy Technician Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Carlton Heights Compounding Pharmacy.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
  • Enter client information into our database system
  • Prepare medications for clients, including compounding oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure efficient operations
  • Bill third-party insurers for services rendered
  • Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependability and a strong work ethic
