Your Role: As a Logistics Coordinator - Trailer Operations, you will play a vital part in coordinating the timely flow of trailers and paperwork needed in the process of receiving, storing, and shipping product. Your responsibilities will include controlling, inspecting, recording, and tracking inbound and outbound customers, truck, vendor, and visitor traffic, as well as assisting Transportation and Warehouse department clerks with assigned tasks.
- Coordinate dock flow for receiving shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Compare the accuracy of supplier bills to prevent errors.
- Select and stage loads to be received, prioritizing efficiency and productivity.
- Print and distribute receiving paperwork as needed, maintaining accurate records.
- Finalize shipping and receiving paperwork, ensuring all necessary information is included.
- Track and verify product on trailers to prevent delays or losses.
- Adhere to standard work and work instructions, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position, driving continuous improvement.
- Verify and record all inbound and outbound traffic, maintaining accurate logs.
Role Specifics:
- Schedule: Full-time evenings, Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm (subject to change based on business needs).
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
