Flying Falcon Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team as a Route Specialist.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced driver with a strong background in long haul trucking to oversee all aspects of vehicle condition and cargo security. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of cargo while maintaining safety and security standards.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular checks on vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo at all times, including tarping and securing loads.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as obtain necessary permits and documents.
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Demonstrated experience in long haul trucking, with a strong focus on safety and compliance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
