About the Role:

Rogers Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Director to join our team of professionals in the Breakfast Television department in Toronto, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between studio floor and production control room to ensure seamless execution of live and taped productions.
  • Prepare and ready on-camera personnel for productions, ensuring they are well-informed and equipped to deliver high-quality performances.
  • Assist on-air talent as required, providing support and guidance during studio or on-location productions.
  • Coordinate studio activities as directed by the control room director, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in live or tape studio situations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a television production and post-production environment.
  • Demonstrate initiative and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of success in a team environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
  • Degree or diploma in Broadcasting or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the aesthetics and program flow of live and taped productions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
