About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced retail leader to join our team at Staples Canada. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic and diverse team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the store team to achieve operational and financial goals.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Manage costs and ensure operational excellence, including asset protection and compliance.
  • Lead a culture of engagement and talent development, including succession planning and performance management.
  • Collaborate with district and regional teams to drive initiatives and projects that support business objectives.
Requirements
  • 5 years of retail management experience, with a focus on customer experience.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
