We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Municipalité du Canton de Valcourt. This is a permanent position, working 32 hours per week.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the municipal clerk and other departments as needed. Your excellent organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a background in public administration, accounting, or a related field, with experience in MS Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative support to the municipal clerk and other departments;
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records and files;
  • Coordinating meetings, events, and deadlines;
  • Developing and implementing effective administrative procedures;
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, council members, and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in public administration, accounting, or a related field;
  • At least [estimated salary] per year, based on qualifications and experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Criminal record check required.
