Job Summary

Horizon School Division is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family School Liaison Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our school community, you will provide essential support to students, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one counselling services to students and families
  • Facilitate group counselling sessions for students
  • Develop and deliver classroom presentations on various topics
  • Liaise with community professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Respond to crisis situations in a timely and effective manner
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Registration or eligibility with a professional association (e.g., Canadian Counselling Association, College of Alberta Psychologists)
  • Experience in counselling children and adolescents
