About the Role

Horizon School Division is seeking a highly skilled Family School Liaison Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential support to students and families in our Taber and rural area schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one counselling services to students and families
  • Facilitate group counselling sessions for students
  • Deliver classroom presentations on various topics
  • Liaise with community professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Attend collaborative team meetings and individual student plan meetings
  • Document clinical interventions in accordance with legal and College requirements
  • Respond to crisis situations in a timely and effective manner
