Kitchen Operations Manager

We are a renowned restaurant looking for an accomplished Cook, Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, planning menus, and training staff.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A permanent position is available, working 40 hours per week.
- The successful applicant will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding.
As a Cook, Apprentice, you will be expected to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining records.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate special events, such as buffets and banquets.
- Determine food portion sizes and costs.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
