About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Work closely with physicians and nurse practitioners to provide orthopaedic care, including assessing and evaluating patient condition, reviewing x-rays, and applying casts and splints.
  • Operate within the scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives, adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and unit-specific protocols.
About Our Team:

Our Emergency department is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with 18 beds, 2 trauma bays, and a range of specialized areas. We treat a diverse range of patients, from acute to complex cases, and work closely with BC Ambulance Services to transport patients to our hospital.
