Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automobile Equipment Mechanic to join our team at First Canadian Auto Collision. As an essential member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing automobile accessories and components.

About the Role

This permanent position requires 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. You will work 40 hours per week and have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to complete tasks accurately.
  • Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder, or otherwise fasten motor vehicle parts and components together.
  • Connect cables, tubes, and wires to complete assemblies and installations.
  • Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories.
  • Fit and adjust parts to ensure proper fitment.
  • Inspect auto parts for defects and report any issues to the team.
  • Inspect fully assembled motor vehicles for defects and ensure that previously noted defects have been corrected.
  • Test motor vehicle electrical assemblies, equipment, and wiring for proper performance.
