Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the South Okanagan General Hospital (SOGH) in Oliver, British Columbia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our hospital's services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department and Acute Care units
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency nursing or a related field
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
