Overview

KPMG in Canada is seeking a talented professional to join our Enterprise Solutions Oracle team as a Senior Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for determining and analyzing clients' supply chain management and procurement functional and technical needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Determine and analyze clients' supply chain management and procurement functional and technical needs
  2. Support in the implementation of solutions to drive business-led technology-enabled transformations
  3. Collaborate with key stakeholders, partners, and customers in multiple areas
  4. Undertake or support configurations to tailor solutions to client needs
  5. Undertake or support technical activities such as data conversions, integrations, security, etc.
  6. Work with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
  7. Work in teams and individually as needed, including international teams
  8. Support engagements by owning accountability for individual client deliverables and by supporting the team, fulfilling client needs, and generating value
  9. Cultivate relationships - fostering positive, strong working relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders
  10. Work alongside Business Systems Analysts, Developers, Architects, Managers, and Implementation Partners in monitoring project scope, plan resource allocations, and establish success criteria for Oracle implementations
  11. Collaborate closely with the KPMG Functional Leads to support project tasks and deliverables, encompassing planning, budgeting, performance tracking, gap analyses, progress reporting, and risk and resource management

Requirements

  1. A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance/Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required for roles in Oracle SCM and Procurement. Advanced degrees or certifications in Oracle technologies or SCM and Procurement are advantageous
  2. Prior experience in working in a team, Oracle SCM and Procurement administration, configuration, or functional support roles is highly desirable. This includes proficiency with all modules in Oracle SCM and Procurement
  3. Strong understanding of SCM and Procurement processes, policies, regulations, and compliance requirements specific to Oracle SCM and Procurement to provide effective functional support and assistance to end-users
  4. Track record of meeting project objectives
  5. Ability to collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver data conversion solutions aligned with project objectives
  6. Solid organizational skills with capability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
  7. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting project requirements, priorities, and timelines
  8. Commitment to continuous learning - staying updated on Oracle SCM technologies, tools, and best practices
  9. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving Oracle SCM and Procurement-related issues, discrepancies, and system errors in a timely manner
  10. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of data throughout the conversion process, adhering to data security and privacy regulations and best practices
  11. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with stakeholders, articulate technical concepts, document processes and procedures, and provide user training and support
  12. Fluency in English is required (French is an asset)
