Job Title: Assistant Cook

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Cook to join our team at Stratford Pizza Corner Ltd. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language.
