Senior Enterprise Architect for Business Innovation

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to support our content deliverable for an enterprise evergreening program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT architecture and business transformation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement an architectural evolution plan to identify future business requirements and perform gap analyses.
  2. Assess the feasibility of migrating to a target business architecture and enabling technologies, and identify risks associated with migration.
  3. Identify business and technology trends that create opportunities for business improvement.
  4. Produce a comprehensive architectural plan, recommend prioritization of architecture evolution initiatives, and develop and/or implement an architecture evolution plan.
  5. Manage the development and implementation of an architectural improvement plan.
  6. Coach, mentor, and train the organization to perform any of the above.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect with 5 projects in the last 10 years.
  2. Experience working on SDLC projects with a deep understanding of CI/CD tools and practices.
  3. Must hold a valid Government of Canada Reliability clearance.
  4. Bachelor Degree/ College Diploma in Computer Science, IT or engineering.
  5. Must hold at least one certification of the following:
  6. Open Group Certified Architect.
  7. CISSP-ISSAP.
  8. Professional Cloud Solutions Architect Certification.

We offer a competitive hourly rate and a 6-month contract with possible extension. The position is 100% remote.
