Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Truck Sales Representative to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our heavy equipment and trucks to existing and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties, and delivery dates for heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales and orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to clients.
  • Prepare sales or other contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Promote sales to existing clients, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Identify and solicit potential clients, building relationships and establishing trust to drive sales growth.
  • Deliver sales presentations, showcasing the features and benefits of our heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Use sales forecasting software to analyze market trends and optimize sales strategies.
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage contracts, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of obligations.
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations is essential for this role.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in heavy truck sales or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of sales forecasting software and ability to analyze market trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field is an asset.
