Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and financial decision support to our ICS Canada team
  • Complete strategic and financial planning processes, including Monthly Reviews, Variance Analysis, and Annual Plan
  • Query, curate, and analyze large data sets using Cornerstone, SQL, and LUMI
  • Transform data sets into compelling visuals using Tableau and PowerBI dashboards and reports
  • Derive actionable business or financial insights and recommendations, and communicate these in a clear and concise manner to internal partners
  • Lead and develop Senior Financial Analysts
  • Collaborate with the broader Finance team and other business partners to advance the vision and strategy of the Finance team and the broader business

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance and an Accounting Designation (CPA, CFA, MBA-Finance, MMA)
  • 5+ years relevant finance/business experience
  • Ability to influence others without having direct authority, including demonstrated ability to influence senior management in the company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience synthesizing and communicating complex concepts, opportunities, recommendations, and strategy to Sr. Leadership
  • Robust modeling and analytics experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Extensive knowledge of programming languages and data modeling tools (SQL, SAS, LUMI, and Python)
  • Experience with designing and building PowerBI and Tableau dashboards
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mind, and inclination for problem-solving
  • Ability to handle several tasks while maintaining accuracy
