Job Title: Indian Cuisine Chef

We are seeking a skilled Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team at Leela Indian Food Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and ensure seamless execution of menu items.
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer expectations.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain kitchen efficiency.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
