Job Description

The Mental Health Professional provides clinical services to individuals under the supervision of the Mental Health Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor, or Mental Health Director. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluations in compliance with policies and relevant professional standards.
  • Completing timely and accurate clinical documentation, including clinical service reports and mental health treatment records.
  • Providing consultation services to institutional staff regarding the mental status and management of persons served.

We offer ongoing training and development opportunities for licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members, and have best-in-class clinical resources for training, education, and point-of-care support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university.
  • Coursework and professional experience indicating knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.
  • LMSW, LPC, or similar licensure in the state from the appropriate state licensing board. You must maintain CPR certification and any other certifications required.
