The Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the role of Clinical Supervisor. As a key member of our Outpatient Mental Health Service (OMHS) team, this individual will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being of clients through the delivery of high-quality clinical services.

**Company Overview**

Nodin Mental Health Services is a mental health resource for children, youth, adults, and families from remote First Nation communities served by the Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority. Our OMHS is a multi-disciplinary team providing assessment, counseling, group work, crisis intervention, and safety planning for individuals with complex needs.

**Job Description**

The Clinical Supervisor reports directly to the Outpatient Mental Health Clinical Manager and is responsible for overseeing the work of counselors to ensure consistency in applying organizational policies, standard operating procedures, and performance expectations. Key duties include assessing clinical records, monitoring case management, and providing timely response and documentation for high-risk cases.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in mental health counseling, registration with a related professional body in Ontario, and completion of a university program in a core mental health discipline. A sound understanding of theoretical principles, proficiency in clinical assessment and treatment, and excellent communication skills are also essential. Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of First Nations culture are assets.
