Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Welder & Body-Mount Specialist to join our team at Pride Bodies Ltd. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you'll work closely with our Welding Supervisor and a team of experienced Welders to perform a variety of tasks, including welding, assembly, and body mounting.

Responsibilities

  1. Uphold priorities of Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Teamwork;
  2. Perform work that is accurate and finished, ensuring internal customers can complete their tasks without disruption;

Requirements

  1. High School/GED diploma required; valid driver's license and clean driving record;
  2. Maintain regular and reliable attendance;
  3. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude;
  4. Stamina and strength to perform manual labor;
  5. Certified or willing to obtain CWB 47.1 (Steel) and CWB 47.2 (Aluminum) welding certifications;
  6. Able to read blue-print drawings and interpret them along with weld symbols;
  7. Experience in welding/fabrication of steel and aluminum parts for sub-assemblies and vehicle bodies;
  8. Hold a current lift-truck license or be willing to become certified;
  9. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies;
  10. Able to read tape measure correctly;
  11. Strong attention to detail;
  12. Troubleshoot problems and take corrective action;
  13. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
