Job Description
We're seeking a skilled Welder & Body-Mount Specialist to join our team at Pride Bodies Ltd. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you'll work closely with our Welding Supervisor and a team of experienced Welders to perform a variety of tasks, including welding, assembly, and body mounting.
Responsibilities
- Uphold priorities of Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Teamwork;
- Perform work that is accurate and finished, ensuring internal customers can complete their tasks without disruption;
Requirements
- High School/GED diploma required; valid driver's license and clean driving record;
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance;
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude;
- Stamina and strength to perform manual labor;
- Certified or willing to obtain CWB 47.1 (Steel) and CWB 47.2 (Aluminum) welding certifications;
- Able to read blue-print drawings and interpret them along with weld symbols;
- Experience in welding/fabrication of steel and aluminum parts for sub-assemblies and vehicle bodies;
- Hold a current lift-truck license or be willing to become certified;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies;
- Able to read tape measure correctly;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Troubleshoot problems and take corrective action;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
