Job Title: Senior Process Engineer - Facilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer - Facilities to join our team at Startec Compression & Process. As a key member of our process engineering team, you will be responsible for providing process engineering expertise and oversight for all facility projects from the FEED stage through detailed engineering to start-up and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the process design and engineering activities for Facility projects.
  • Develop block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, heat & material balances, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
  • Develop and optimize process simulations for greenfield projects and de-bottleneck and troubleshoot existing designs for brownfield projects.
  • Sizing of all major equipment, piping, control valves, PSVs, and flare system.
  • Developing control narratives and shutdown keys (Cause and effect).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in process design and engineering of gas processing facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering principles, including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, water treatment, fuel handling, cooling, and heating.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software.
  • Experience with process safety and risk assessment methodologies and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with equipment sizing, control valve sizing & PSV sizing.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior process engineers.
