Medical Transcriptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Stenographer to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Medical Stenographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality transcription services to support the delivery of patient care.
About the Role
Under the direction of the Chief Technologist and reporting to the Lab Manager, you will be responsible for the clerical duties in the Laboratory. This includes transcribing medical records, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
* Transcribe medical records with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Prepare reports and maintain accurate records
* Provide excellent customer service to healthcare professionals and patients
* Work effectively in a team environment to achieve departmental goals
Requirements
* Grade 12
* Graduation from an approved program in medical stenography
* One year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
