We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical records and reports to ensure timely and effective communication among healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Transcribe medical records and reports with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure timely and effective communication among healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve any transcription-related issues
- Stay up-to-date with medical terminology and transcription guidelines
- Grade 12 diploma
- Graduation from an approved program in medical stenography
- One year of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to type at 60 wpm
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
